Looking for GED® testing in Novice TX? The exam is only given in pencil and paper format. Usually in order to sit for the GED® test the student must be older than 17 years old. The testing fee in the state of Texas ranges from $40-$90.
The GED® test consists of five topics: language arts (reading), language arts (writing), mathematics, science and social studies. Each section of the test awards a score between 200-800. Many states require students to get a score of 410 on each of the five topics and an average of 450 for the GED® exam to pass.
