Looking for GED® testing in Alaska? The examination is only offered in pencil and paper format. Typically in order to sit for the GED® test the student must be at least 17 years old. The GED® examination cost in the state of Alaska varies from $40-$90.

The GED® test covers five topics: reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. Each test awards a score between 200-800. Most states require students to receive a score of 410 on each of the five topics and an average of 450 for the GED® test to pass.
